Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow yoga is a creative sequencing of poses linked together with the breath. Classes are dynamic and movement based, focusing on a continuous flow between postures. Each class may center on a peak pose, intention, or particular aspect of yoga philosophy such as a chakra or yoga sutra. In Sanskrit, vinyasa means β€œto place in a sacred/special way,” and this informs the graceful dance of a vinyasa flow class.

Expect a thoughtfully sequenced, vigorous but relaxing practice, laced with humor and a sense of exploration. Danielle teaches with a deep awareness of alignment, precision, and intent, while also encouraging students to feel into their own bodies, knowing that each one of us is fundamentally unique, and therefore our asana will look different. Students will experience their own strength and fierce power, but also acceptance, organic movement, and stillness.

Slow Flow

Similar to vinyasa flow (see above) but with longer holds in poses and between sequences. Focus remains on connecting movement and breath, though several will be taken in a single pose. If you are looking for a more meditative practice, this is the one for you.
